humans are strange

Hello! I’m a 30-some person living in New York, working in tech, fascinated by people and how we relate to each other. That’s why I read a ton of novels, majored in Comparative Lit, and have been writing fiction since 2015. Currently working on my third novel (the second needs work and the first was an incredible learning experience i.e. not very good).

In this newsletter, I reflect on the ways in which we seek connection and try to understand why we think and behave the way we do around others (with a bit of help from my favorite novelists and philosophers). It’s as much a process of discovery for me as I hope it will be for you.
