Great essay! These were wonderful ideas you brought forth. I've never thought about my "relationship" with writing. I've never thought of it as a relationship. It's always been the application of a learned skill and basically work, to me. Because of this, there's been a sense of detachment. Which has helped me a lot of times, ngl. Your perspective makes me look at it differently. Maybe in this way, writing can be enjoyed and cherished more.

P.S. Congrats on getting an agent! Looking forward to reading more of your work. :)
